Stuff for sale! Cross-bike/Road-bike/Guitar/snowboard

Hi guys,

It's Adam Zollo here in Takasaki.

I'm heading back to the U.S. and I'm going to try and sell some things.

Cross-bike 2.5万:

It's a Precision Cross-bike, kind of like a road-bike but with thicker touring size tires and a little less forward lean. It has 28-gears and is only 2 months old (though I did ride it all the way down to Yakushima). I recommend for people 5'5 to 5'10. It could be used by someone smaller if they take off the back rack.

It has a rain cover for the front wheel and a rack that protects the back. It is good on Japanese roads because it has nice fat tires that give a lot (though it won't be as forgiving as a mountain-bike), it is fast, and it brakes and shifts cleanly. It also comes with 2 spare tires, a flashlight, and a back rack.

It's been well maintained, but has some micro scratches here and there and the tiniest bit of rusting on some of the nuts and bolts but a bit of polish would take it off (they are all parts that can be replaced for a few cents).

The original value was 4万, but the flashlight, rack, and rain cover were all purchased separately.

Road-bike 3.8万:

This is a Gios fixie, meaning the chain is fixed into a single gear. You can peddle forward or backwards, but you must be constantly peddling. It can be braked by back-peddling or by jamming down on the peddle. It also has a small brake on the front that can be used while you are learning or if you are lazy, I use it a lot. I recommend for people 5'3 - 5'6.

It's a pretty simple and light design. It's about a year and a half old, and has some minor scratches. No rust at all, except on the two front bolts that hold the tire on, not sure how that happened but they can be cleaned or replaced easily if you are the type to care.

The front gear is 46 teeth and was bought recently. The handle bars and brake was also bought a few months ago. The back has 17 teeth and is also new than the bike. The chain is also only a few months old.

Very fun to ride around, but not entirely practical as it is hard to carry much on it and you have to be careful of hitting bumps.

Original value of the bike is 7万 though some parts are upgraded.

Snowboard 1.8万:

A forum snowboard. It is 150cm and designed for park and rail. The board has a few minor scratches from being used on rails and jumps that would be fixed with a wax (it does need a wax). I recommend for people 5'3 - 5'6 if you want to just ride down the hill. 5'5 to 5'8 will enjoy this as a park and rail board.

It comes with Burton bindings. They have always been great bindings and I've used them for years. They are a few years old with a bit of damage, nothing that effects how they work though.

The boots are older too. DC boots. Also great boots but a bit worn like the bindings. They are a US size 9.

The board was originally 6万 in Japan (so like 4万 in the US). Bindings were around $300 and boots were around $200 but unlike the board, they are a bit farther off from their original value.

Guitar 7千:

Great acoustic guitar. Great sound. The low E-string was just changed so it doesn't stay in tune for more than a day, but that will change in a week or so as it settles into place. Comes with a case, old fashion tuner to the key of A, a string mute, and a fret clamp or whatever that is called.

I'll add a clip of me playing, keep in mind that I'm not that good and nor is the recording. I bought it used for 1万 and it's in the same condition + new strings.

Bouldering Pad 5千:

A bouldering pad that folds out to about 4.5 feet x 4.5 feet. It folds in half and can be worn as a back-pack. It's worn from being fallen on and put in the dirt, but no major damage. It certainly preforms the job it is intended to. Get out to Ogawayama and use it! (I left out the picture because I was having trouble getting everything to load, email me for a pic).

I also have more pictures if you want.
I'll be around Takasaki until July 27th, and I'll be back in Takasaki from August 11th - 13th. I can meet you or have a friend give it to you.

Buy Adam's bike! It's nice. Then, buy my bike pump: http://gunmajet.net/node/3578

Hey! It's not selling so

Hey! It's not selling so I'm going to try for a lot cheaper.

fixie : 25,000
cross : 15,000
pad : free if you'll actually use it
board : 10,000

I actually was intent on taking my fixie home if I couldn't get 35,000 for it, but the cost of shipping it was about 30,000 more than I anticipated. Damn this country and it's high cost of ribing.

Anyways, I'm going to be in Korea for the next week so let me know by email.
